Our Team

Thrive takes a small number of engagements at a time, on purpose. The person you meet is the person who runs your deal.

Jennifer Alexander, Founder, Thrive Strategy

Jennifer Alexander

Founder & Managing Director

Jennifer has spent years running finance inside owner-led companies, not just reviewing it from the outside. Most M&A advisors meet a business the year it goes to market. She shows up a lot earlier, which is why the work she does beforehand makes a business stronger whether or not it ever sells.

When a transaction does happen, she acts as the owner’s deal lead from first conversation through closing, surfacing diligence issues before they can become reasons to pay less.

Seth Weisberg

Managing Director, Strategic Relationships

Seth has seen Thrive’s work from both sides of the table. He first met Jennifer as a buyer, then hired her to lead the sale of ABCO Systems to Element Logic, a European buyer. That experience gives him a perspective few advisors can offer: he knows what a well-run process looks like to the buyer, and what it feels like from the owner’s side.

Before joining Thrive, Seth spent 30 years building businesses, including growing an industrial B2B services company from $2 million to $70 million and a multi-store B2C which sold for 10X. Today, he leads Thrive’s strategic relationships in the U.S.

Adam Merrett

Advisor

Adam Merrett, BSc, MBA, is a seasoned financial and operational executive with deep experience across Corporate and Commercial Banking, entrepreneurship, and strategic advisory work. After a decade in banking, he founded and scaled a multimillion‑dollar B2B Locksmith & Security company, leading it through rapid growth and a successful exit.

He has been the lender, and he has been the owner going through an exit. That combination shapes how he advises owners now.

Bryan Robinson

Chief of Staff

Bryan Robinson keeps Thrive’s engagements moving. A sale generates a constant stream of information requests, deadlines and follow-ups, and any one of them slipping gives a buyer a reason to slow down or reopen a point.

Bryan runs the process behind the process, coordinating across the owner’s team and the advisors already in place, so the deal keeps pace while the business keeps running.

Sharper decisions while building. Greater readiness when preparing. More leverage when selling.
